Katie Birchard AKA "Hala Pickford" Now Owes More Than Half-A-Million Dollars In Court Judgements

Since 2009, Katie Birchard, has been successfully sued repeatedly for Libel, False Light, Defamation and much more. As of today, those judgements have ballooned to more than $500,000. (Five-Hundred Thousand Dollars) Birchard is ineligible to discharge these debts in bankruptcy, as the court system has found her to have committed these crimes willfully, with malice and oppression. In addition, Birchard continues to have an active California arrest warrant for Contempt of Court, and Failure to Appear, in relation to reposting libelous material when she was court ordered not to, and failure to appear to answer those charges. Birchard has multiple restraining orders against her, and is a fugitive from justice, believed to be hiding out in St. George, Utah.

Never one to learn a lesson from her past experiences, Birchard is now back to her old tricks, and has begun a tirade against Timothy Dean Lefler, author of Mabel Normand - The Life And Career Of A Hollywood Madcap. It's only a matter of time before Birchard is sued again. With more than $40,000 (Forty-Thousand Dollars) being tacked on in interest, each year, she is in complete financial ruins, at only thirty years old. Hala Pickford Found Guilty Of Libel, False Light & More; Ordered To Pay Zachary Jaydon & PopWrapped More Than Three-Hundred Forty Three Thousand Dollars

In a landmark case, led by powerhouse attorney, William D. Bowen, Katie Birchard, AKA "Hala Pickford," was ordered to pay more than $343,000 (Three-Hundred-Forty-Three Thousand Dollars) (EDIT: THIS AMOUNT HAS NOW BALLOONED TO MORE THAN $500,000) to Zachary Jaydon and PopWrapped Entertainment Group for willfully using "Oppression, Fraud and Malice" to commit Defamation, False Light, Trade Libel, Intentional Interference With Prospective Contractual Advantage, and more. The Honorable Judge Laura Matz found by "Clear and Convincing Evidence" that Birchard committed the crimes against the Plaintiffs. The Los Angeles court order also included an additional judgement of nearly $35,000 (Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars) per year in interest, to be paid to Jaydon and PopWrapped. 

In addition to the monetary judgement, Birchard and all those acting in concert with her, were ordered to permanently remove any of the material written about Jaydon and PopWrapped, and to post nothing further. The California injunction against Birchard is permanent, and any violation of the court order would be considered a felony. Specifically included in the court judgement was an additional demand to remove libelous and malicious posts written by Harry Potter superfan Melissa Anelli. Anelli's company, Mischief Management is the company behind LeakyCon, GeekyCon, BroadwayCon and Con Of Thrones. Judge Matz referred to Anelli's posts and comments as "alarming, unethical and absolutely unacceptable," noting that "...Anelli's convenient reposting of clearly libelous material to further her own business is exactly why these kinds of laws are on the books in the first place."

Jaydon's pending criminal case against Birchard for criminal Stalking and Cyberstalking is ongoing. Jaydon has already successfully obtained a restraining order against Birchard. The penalties for Stalking, in the State of California, are strikingly harsh.

On April 2, 2014, Katie Birchard was sued in Los Angeles County, California by Plaintiffs Zachary Jaydon and PopWrapped Entertainment Group, for more than $300,000. (Three-Hundred Thousand Dollars)

The Plaintiffs allege, though renowned California attorney William D. Bowen, that Birchard, under the guise of "Hala Pickford" and other aliases, has knowingly and maliciously caused irreparable damage to Plaintiffs reputations and intentionally interfered with their businesses. The court complaint alleges that Defendant engaged in criminal behaviour, including Libel, Intentional Interference With Prospective Contractual Advantage, Negligent Interference With Prospective Contractual Advantage, Trade Libel, Defamation, Painting Plaintiffs In A False Light, Breach Of Contract and more. Jaydon is seeking more than $100,000 (One-Hundred Thousand Dollars) on behalf of his-self, and more than $200,000 on behalf of his company, PopWrapped Entertainment Group.

In addition to a civil request of more than $300,000 (Three-Hundred Thousand Dollars) Jaydon is also seeking a permanent injunction that would prohibit Birchard, her associates, and anyone acting in concert with her, from ever posting libelous material about Jaydon or his companies again, prohibit the reposting of the illicit material Birchard has already posted, as well as permanently removing all illicit material currently posted about Plaintiffs, by Birchard or her associates. Jaydon has requested a jury trial. 

Jaydon stated on record, "I fully anticipate the California Court System will give me the more than reasonable judgement I am requesting on behalf of myself and my companies, especially given her history, and the fact that the Los Angeles Court System has already awarded more than $100,000 (One-Hundred Thousand Dollars) to other victims of Birchard's, for the very same types of illegal activity. The California Court System is well-aware of Birchard's years of bad behavior."

Valentino As I Knew Him: Read The Complete Ghostwritten Novel (FREE)

"Valentino As I Knew Him"

I always thought that this was a wonderful title for S. George Ullman's book.  This book which carries Ullman's name as author, was actually ghost-written by publicity people.  Valentino was buried on September 7, 1926 and the first edition of this book was released the next month in October 1926.  I am sure Ullman wrote down some of the events and experiences he shared with Rudolph Valentino and the ghost writer put in into book format, flushing out the stories with praise for Valentino on almost every page.  The public ate it up and the book was quite popular. Even to this day it often referenced as a 'favorite' when fans share a list of Valentino books they enjoy the most.

George Ullman wasn't above stealing a wee bit of the limelight for himself.  On page 120 he openly boasts that it was he who was instructed to have the legendary platinum slave bracelet created.  When in truth it was Valentino's head of household man, Luther H. Mahoney who took Rambova's design to the jewelers.  Mahoney left audio tape of this story in which he mentions Tiffany's and the street it was on.   Actually it was Brock's Jewelers and they were called the Tiffany's of the west coast.   So, no Ullman didn't have a thing to do with the slave bracelet creation.

Obviously written in haste - when you have a book come out a month after the person dies, errors will abound.  Valentino As I Knew Him suffered slightly from this, as one of the pictures in the book showing the Whitley Heights home is captioned as being Falcon Lair.  Of course George Ullman knew the difference, it was just an oversight that the proof-readers overlooked because they were not knowledgeable about names of Valentino's homes. It just gives more proof that Ullman was absent during the books creation.

George Ullman's book coming out a month after Valentino's burial appeared to be in a race as he probably heard that Rambova was penning her own book, which she was.  Rambovas book came out in December of 1926 so he beat her by two months.

The book Valentino As I Knew Him is an easy, fun read.  Stories are told and everything, glorification aside, sounds sincere.  One of my favorite passages was when Ullman, describing Rambova, stated something to the effect of how puzzled he was that Rambova remained oblivious and unaffected to the charms of Rudy that were so easily seen by others.

A Heartfelt And Sorrowful Apology For Evelyn Zumaya

Evelyn Zumaya has been screaming from the hilltops that she would like a public apology. For what, I'm not exactly clear on, but as I sat, pondering this odd request, it dawned on me that Evelyn, was indeed, owed not just one apology, but many. I realized that she was most correct when she said that it was due to her, and so I present to you, Evelyn Zumaya, the public apology that you so crave and demand.

Dearest Evelyn,

I apologize that you are completely unable to differentiate fact from fiction.

I apologize that you are a venomous, old woman, completely taken aback by tragic situations in your life that you, yourself have created.

I apologize that you have disillusioned yourself to believe that there are a “team” of people, hunkered down to discredit you, when, even Stevie Wonder could plainly see that you aren't the kind of woman to be taken seriously in regards to anything at all, let alone to justify a "team" of people for anything.

I apologize that not even your own husband was able to stand to be around you, divorcing you and leaving you to a lonely life of bitterness and spite.

I apologize that, by your own choosing, you were not at your dying fathers bedside to comfort him in his final hours of life, because you were too busy defending your “buddy” Katie Lynn Birchard, A.K.A. “Hala Pickford,” in Burbank, during one of her frivolous court hearings. I apologize, that as your father, George, took his final breath, you were completely caught up in your own hateful agenda and much, much too busy to attend to the man whom gave selflessly to you and to his community his entire life. I apologize that he had to take his dying breaths without a daughter that he did his best to raise with moral integrity, even though, there doesn't seem to be any of that left in her. For this, I most greatly apologize.

I apologize that no reputable book seller will carry your highly fictional and sensationalized account of the last few years of the life of Rudolph Valentino, and that you are not taken seriously by anyone in the Valentino community. For this, I do apologize.

I apologize that in your book of fiction, "Affairs Valentino," you felt the need to put a libelous and highly sensationalized "Forwarning," hoping to take jabs at people whom actually are respected in the Valentino community, when you, yourself are not welcome because of your own hateful  rhetoric.

I apologize that you feel the need to spend the last years of your miserable life creating dozens of laughable YouTube videos claiming that you are being bullied and harassed, when, in fact, it is you and your “buddy,” Katie Lynn Birchard that have created this entire machination from the very beginning. For this, I sincerely apologize.

I apologize that you made the horrendous business decision to allow Katie Lynn Birchard, under the guise of “Hala Pickford,” to publish your lackadaisical, and poorly edited work of fiction, “Affairs Valentino.” Teaming up with someone whom not only has an ACTIVE arrest warrant, but has also recently declared bankruptcy and fled to the state of Utah to avoid arrest, doesn't seem like the best business decision, and for your complete lack of common sense, I do apologize.

I apologize that you blatantly refuse to shoulder any of the blame for the situations you currently find yourself in. I apologize that you feel the need to put that blame on men and women you've never even met, and in doing so, create a situation that must be most miserable for yourself. For this, I do apologize.

Mostly, I apologize that, due to your own poor choice, your “Golden Years,” will be spent filled with hate, bitterness, anger, frustration and misery. Long after you're gone, the subjects of your hate-filled rants will go on living, and your work, will not even live on in memory. For this, you have my deepest apology.

Evelyn Zumaya Claims Father Michael Morris Assisted With Affairs Valentino "Forewarning" - Morris Denies Writing Anything With Zumaya

Evelyn Zumaya touted that a "Valentino authority" assisted in the writing of the "Forewarning" to her Internationally-banned book Affairs Valentino.  We did a brief investigation into the identity of the "authority," whom was identified as Father Michael Morris. Due to irrefutable proof, Zumaya was forced to admit that it was indeed Morris. We contacted Morris for clarification of this accusation, and Morris stated the following:

"...rest assured Her book is completely her own and I did not write any of it," going on to say, "Your email came to me as a total surprise. And I am confounded that anyone would suggest that I wrote any of Affairs Valentino. I am all for free expression in the literary world and oppose censorship of free ideas. But I reiterate that I wrote not one word of her book.So you can share that with your group as you wish.

Dear Evelyn,


When your parents welcomed you into this world 64 years ago, they never could have imagined what you, Evelyn Ann Clarkson would become some six-decades later. After failed marriages, many failed friendships and an even more pathetic "career," you hide behind a keyboard and a cheap camera, slobbering in whatever corner of the world you happen to be in, posting lies, half-truths, photos of your shoes, ridiculous videos and anything else you can, methodically attempting to game Google searches in a pathetic attempt to defame another persons legitimate works. You have even sunk as far as to give a girl, whom you admitted with your own mouth was "...both physically and mentally ill," false hope and an even more false friendship, in a vulgar attempt to further your own "career."

What legacy do you really hope to leave behind? David Bret hasn't destroyed your fathers good name, Evelyn. You have. The true height of evil is taking a proper upbringing, gentle teachings and good family values and defecating upon all of it. YOU DID THAT, EVELYN; not David Bret, not TRT96, and certainly not those that defend themselves against your defamatory and vulgar accusations.

After more than 8 decades of selfless service to their communities, God fearing respect to their family and investing everything they could to raise a God-fearing and honest daughter, I can imagine that they look down in sorrow and sadness, wondering where they went wrong. Both of your parents, Evelyn, were giving, law abiding and good people, pillars in their community and respected by all who knew them. For many years George and Elizabeth devoted their hard-earned money, time and efforts to charities like America's Second Harvest Food Bank in which they took a stand against hunger, providing food and money to the less fortunate. Until the death of Elizabeth in 2008, she faithfully gave of herself in more ways than you'll ever journey after.

The Reverend Ed Enstine fondly reflected on the lives of both of your parents in 2010 after the death of your father, George. Imagine HIS horror, had he known the kind of woman you've become. Take a hard look in the mirror Ms. Zumaya, and reflect upon your true intentions, motives and foul amounts of falsifications that you're projecting onto others.

Now, Evelyn Zumaya will claim that I am defaming her by writing this. She will claim that this blog is somehow committing identity theft and other felonious crimes. She will claim that she is the greatest thing since Valentino's birth, but not to worry. Everything written about here is court record and public fact.

Hala Pickford is running from the law, an Arrest Warrant and Felony Charges following her like a lost puppy. Both Zumaya and Pickford, (Real Name: Katie Lynn Birchard) have perpetrated heinous and calculated character assassination attempts on dozens of people, by projecting their fears, insecurities, short-comings and faults onto anyone perceived to be in a better or more respected position than they.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, ladies. Now, I don't want to give either of you too much credit for your intelligence, so I'm going to break it down for you in the only terms you seem to understand.

FICTION: Anyone using public information, court records and Google search to research another is "stalking" and/or "harassing."

FACT: The internet is a vastly fluid, ever-changing medium, in which facts AND fiction about people can be found and easily spread to others. Just because it isn't information you'd like to be spread, does NOT make it "stalking/harassing." It means your bullshit came out in the wash and you're throwing a bitch fit. Nothing more.

FICTION: A small group of people have taken to the defamation and removal of your book because it's "the book they don't want you to read."

FACT: You published a book with a well-known con-artist, with an active arrest warrant and wrote a forewarning that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the story line of the book in a failed attempt to promote said book. It was almost immediately banned from any reputable sales venue, and has sat legally "banned" from sale for over a year.

FICTION: TRT96 is committing identity theft by owning a website with a similar title to your book.

FACT: You let said blog fall back into public domain, and it has been snapped up by a fellow Valentino fan and used for the publication of positive and well-respected Valentino projects. Not for identity theft. WHO would want an identity such as yours? Yes, let's face it, Evelyn. If it was as well-documented, well-researched and "true" like you claim it is, it wouldn't be banned from every reputable seller.

If you truly seek the respect of your peers, try a new approach ladies. Try taking the high road for once. Try seeking truth for once, and try to discontinue the mockery you make of yourselves with each blog/video posting. A woman scorned is a force to be reckoned with, they say. It's just sad that force has been directed in such an ill-received, foul manner.

Martha The "Brick Layer" Speaks! (Hala Pickford, "¿Historian?")

Today, we have a special guest with us to help further our research on "Hala Pickford." There has been much confusion about her "meticulous research" that has been brought to our attention, and so, with the help of Martha The "Brick-Layer," we'd like to clarify some points for our readers.

--On October 19, 2009, Hala Pickford advised her many four followers on “How to Write a Silent Film Biography,” which you can read here, although we don’t recommend it. She begins this lesson by announcing:

"I hate self proclaimed titles. A lot of people like to dub themselves ‘experts’ or ‘authorities’ or ‘historians.’ I like to think those are titles one can only earn, but that doesn’t stop people from taking them. I could hear a million old gasp-y shocked breaths if I declared myself any of the above...I may be no Kevin Brownlow [ed. she got that one right] but I research everything meticulously. The Cinecon crowd might not like it but I probably deserve some such title or the other."

We would like to point out that although Miss Pickford “hates self proclaimed titles,” it took her only to the paragraphs' end to reward herself with one.

Miss Pickford usually does not hesitate to insult and belittle the work of others, even as she trumpets her own "mad skilz" as a historical researcher; but friends, we now have a golden opportunity to compare some of Hala Pickford’s “meticulous” research with the work done by some of the “old gasp-y” crowd. Let us contrast a few paragraphs from two online biographies of silent film star Nita Naldi: that by Hala Pickford  here, and than by some “old gaspers” on the website “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp."  After we finish this interesting exercise in critical thinking, you can decide for yourself exactly which title Miss "Pickford" deserves.

Hala Pickford tells us that “Nita was born Nonna Dooley in March 1895.” Hala doesn’t give us much in the way of sourcing for her biography, but she does drop this tidbit: she derives her information from the 1900 census, which the “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp” biographers have kindly posted here. Censuses are notoriously unreliable about such information, a fact Miss Pickford was warned about (repeatedly), but which she chose to ignore. The accurate Nita Naldi website states that Nita’s birth name was Mary Dooley and that her birth date was November 13, 1894. As evidence they supply Nita’s birth certificate, along with the birth and death certificates of Nita’s siblings, here.

Hala tells us that Nita’s brother was named “Frank Naldi” and that he joined Nita in creating a “song and dance act.” This interesting data point was apparently derived from the information on the 1900 and 1910 censuses, combined with the name “Daniel Francis” carved on the family gravestone (Click For Source), and a September 1924 newspaper interview with a Frank Naldi who claimed to be Nita’s brother. The accurate Nita Naldi website, however, states that Nita’s brother was named Daniel Aloysius Dooley, that he joined the Army, married, had a child, studied law, and worked in a bank. Their sources? Censuses, his draft registration, marriage and death records, and discussions with Nita’s family. His obituary (which can be read here) and his grandchildren support Silent Vamp biographers' version of events, rather than Hala Pickford’s.

Meticulous? You decide.

So who was this “Frank Naldi?” We queried the “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp” owners and received this response: “Not Nita’s brother.”

So who was this “Daniel Francis?” The Nita Naldi website has provided us with information from the cemetery interment record:

“Note: although the stone above the Cronin family plot is carved with five names, there are fifteen people, representing three generations and three marriage-related families (Dunphy, Cronin, and Dooley), buried in this plot. Most are infants, the children of Daniel and Margaret Dunphy Cronin (Nita’s maternal grandparents), and Nita’s infant siblings, the children of Patrick and Julia Cronin Dooley [ed. Nita’s parents]. The names carved on the stone are Nita, her mother Julia (Cronin) Dooley, Mary and Bridget Dunphy (the siblings of John and Sr. Mary Nonna Dunphy, and Margaret Dunphy Cronin), and Daniel Francis Cronin, infant son of Daniel and Margaret Dunphy Cronin.

In other words, “Daniel Francis” was Nita’s uncle... or he would have been had he lived.

Pickford also seems confused about the names carved on Nita’s gravestone, stating:

“...only her [Nita’s] mother would be buried under the name ‘Dooley,’ everyone else was buried under the name ‘Dunphy,’ likely an influence from Mary Nonna, or the fact that this was their grandmother’s maiden name.”

Pickford does not provide any analysis for this odd statement, but as the sourcing from the accurate Nita Naldi website illuminates, the other people listed on the Calvary Cemetery gravestone were called “Dunphy” because their name was indeed Dunphy.

Pickford discusses Nita’s mother.

“To make matters worse, Naldi’s mother soon took ill. Julia spent some of 1910 with her mother and children, but eventually was enumerated in the St Lawrence Hospital that year.”

Miss Pickford has not provided a citation for this statement and we do not find this information anywhere on the “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp” website. We queried the “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp” biographers, and received this response: 

"We presume this information was derived from an entry on the 1910 census, 1910; Census Place: Ogdensburg Ward 4, Saint Lawrence, New York; Roll: T624_1075; Page:10A; Enumeration District: 160; Image: 510. We do not include this on our site because we do not think everyone named Julia Dooley who lived in the State of New York was Nita’s mother.

The St. Lawrence Hospital in Ogdensburg, New York was a state-run facility in upstate New York for the care of the insane. If Nita’s mother was at such a facility she was more than likely legally committed through a court action, which means there might well be supporting documentation available. However, since we are not making the claim that the person on this census record is Nita’s mother, it is not our responsibility to look for it."

No, that would be Miss Pickford’s responsibility.

Later on, when discussing Nita’s marriage to J. Searle Barclay, Jr., Hala advises us first that the two were married for only a short time and then split; a few paragraphs later she contradicts herself, saying

"The pair had been together for eleven years when they separated...Naldi returned to New York, without her husband, in late 1931, under the name Nita Naldi Barclay."

There is no citation for this statement, but the “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp” website has provided us with this Ship’s Manifest for a port arrival on October 22, 1931, here. Nita Naldi Barclay is indeed listed on this manifest, at #13. However, right above Nita’s name, at #12, is Nita’s husband, Searle Barclay--and both give their addresses as the Plaza Hotel. We will go out on a limb and suggest that Nita and her husband did not get separate rooms. We queried the Silent Vamp biographers as to when, exactly, Naldi and her husband split up. Their response? “They didn’t.”

Perhaps our favorite howler occurs when Pickford discusses Nita’s father.

“Patrick appears to still have been alive in 1910, being enumerated in a boarding house not far from where his family lived. Of the boarders, there were two German widowers and a 28 year old Irish immigrant named Martha who was also said to be widowed. She had immigrated in 1906, leaving the possibility that Naldi’s parents had ended their marriage due to some sort of affair.”

Setting aside the incoherent sentence structure, this is a flimsy and downright dangerous speculation to suck from a census enumeration, which is, as usual, Pickford’s sole source. The interpretation becomes even more bizarre when we actually look at the census record itself, which the accurate Naldi website has kindly posted here.  The “28 year old Irish immigrant named Martha” (number 56 on the enumeration sheet) is, in fact, a 28 year old male bricklayer named Martin. While this would certainly put an interesting spin on the breakup of Nita’s family, it is—sadly—beyond the scope of this inquiry.

Finally, in the introductory paragraph of her Nita Naldi “biography,” Miss Pickford makes this surprising claim:

"Nitanaldi.com kindly stole research from this article without credit. Not surprising considering its run by Valentino Kookies."

We wonder. What “research” did the Nita Naldi website steal from Miss Pickford? (And why on earth would they want to?) Miss Pickford cannot even read the few records she has bestirred herself to find, and those few items she has found are all non-copyrightable public record—in other words, available for anyone to read, interpret, and cite. Hala Pickford’s “mad skilz” as a researcher and historian consist of locating a few census images and taking a quick pass through digitized newspapers. She then takes what little she finds, misinterprets what she doesn’t misread, studiously avoids critical thinking, and sews it all together into a crazy quilt of errors, confusion, blather, and braggadocio, not a single word of which any reader fill find duplicated on “Nita Naldi, Silent Vamp.”

To sum it up: there are poodles out there who better historians than Hala Pickford.

By now, you're probably being serenaded tortured by the sweet sounds of "Hala Kitty" from the player at the bottom of our page.  "Hala Pickford" has always been a phenomenal  terrible, wanna-be performer. Here, again the proof is in the "pudding." Her Global flop, "I Kissed Ben (Bledsoe)" and others were so terrible, that when she submitted them for consideration to participate in the 2007 Florida Music Festival, the selection committee actually wanted her to perform; all as a joke, of course.  In 2007, the Orlando Sentinel ran this piece, publicly humiliating the wanna-be popstress and sending her into a public fit on several of her blogs. The Last Laugh Is On Hala Pickford; Duped Into Believing Fake Rudolph Valentino Signature Is Real

Recently, we've come across a plethora of alarming details indicating fraud in regards to Hala Pickford's sham of a film festival/society, dedicated to her favorite obsession, Rudolph Valentino.  She's obviously misrepresented the festival from the very beginning, including the date it is supposedly happening/has happened which varies depending on which website/blog you stumble upon.   No one has ever seen a public accounting of where the society dues are spent.  According to Pickford, society membership has many benefits, including discounts on her trashy Valentino trinkets, availability of advance festival tickets for a festival that has had more date changes than you can imagine and other useless garbage.

Given the fact that Hala has trashed on every other Rudolph Valentino authority, including Tracy Terhune and many other prominent Valentino authors, claiming they have done terrible research, you'd  want to believe that she herself would have researched her own affairs in better detail.  Terhune has written a fabulous book on Valentino, also owning one of the most extensive and sought after, museum-quality Valentino memorabilia collections in the world, but Pickford, at the ripe old age of 23, would have you believe that everyone else is "loony" and she is the all-knowing when it comes to the subject.

Below is the original Rudolph Valentino photo that Hala "borrowed" and the FAKE Valentino Autograph that she copied from a Google search & gave to her artist, Kate, whom came up with this terrible machination of his image.  This artist rendering looks more like a drag-queen advertisement than a logo for the famed actor. The shading is terrible and the form is garbage, but Pickford "...screamed with glee" when she saw the finished product, claiming that "there could not be a more perfect logo for Rudy."  She probably should have screamed in horror.  Keep in mind that Pickford had no idea that she had even taken a forged signature.  She probably will not realize that her own "research" is in error unless she stumbles upon this report herself.

Below are several true specimens of Rudolph Valentino's authentic signature.  You will notice many differences, including the fact that the "V" in Valentino is rounded and never pointed.  You will also notice that Valentino never closes the "a" in Valentino and that the "R" in Rudolph is much different as well.  We had all  of these signatures, including the fake examined by one of the top Autograph Clearinghouses in the USA and they pointed out the same things, also noting that the "pen pressure" appeared to be different in the fake as well.  All of these discrepancies in the fake signature explain why it's been for sale for over 2 years without a buyer.  It's not fooling anyone but Hala Pickford.  The proof is in the pudding and once again she's  clearly mistaken shit for pudding.  Don't take our word for it. Hala Pickford Publicly Admits To Being A Hooker?

Now, we aren't quite sure what the significance is, as we've always suspected it was the truth, but for some reason or another, Hala Pickford has decided to upload her very own theme song to The Rudolph Valentino Society page.  That's right folks, The song, "Hooker" has been added as a permanent part of her very professional erratic website.

Now, you might be saying to yourself, "...but that song is very inappropriate, and uses the "fuck" word in nearly every stanza."  You might also be asking what her being a hooker has to do with Rudolph Valentino. or a prestigious society "focused" on his life.  We aren't sure how to explain it either, especially since this is the very same page in which she begs for money and membership dues on.  I know I'd surely never plunk down my last dime to support a website that focuses on these kinds of things!  When push comes to shove, it's clearly all about "Hala Pickford" and not the facade she puts up in pathetic attempts to hide that.

SPOTTED! - Hala Pickford At Local Gay/Lesbian Diner In Hollywood

Hala Pickford was recently spotted by one of our readers at "Kitchen 24," a local Gay/Lesbian diner in Hollywood.  As we always enjoy, she discreetly snapped a couple of photos for us.  The most interesting thing wasn't the fact that Hala was at a gay/lesbian establishment, or that she was stuffing her face with a double order of Fajitas, but that she was allegedly there with her "gal pal"  and the two allegedly spent half of dinner making out and sharing desert.  According to our insider, 

"...Hala and her gal pal were really getting friendly over a double order of fajitas.  Initially I thought her pal was a male, but upon further inspection, I noticed a large set of breasts. Hala is definitely the more effeminate one of the two.  ...they each had a large helping of banana cream pie and left hand-in-hand..."

I must applaud our reader, as the mere thought of watching Hala Pickford in any sort of sexual situation makes us want to vomit up last weeks' lunch, let alone trying to stomach todays'.

Why Hala Pickford's "The Rudolph Valentino Film Festival" Is A Scam

For the better part of 18 months, we have all been hearing about Hala's latest & greatest "masterpiece," "The Rudolph Valentino Film Festival."  The festival, which was purported to be happening in May, 2010 flopped, like the rest of Hala Pickford's many projects.  The festival and its' haphazard and ever-changing dates and details have been spread around the world wide web like a bad case of herpes.  According to one website, geared towards film makers, Hala's festival has already happened.  We are avoiding posting the link to the site because, contrary to the many lies she told in court, she's posted her home address and telephone number there.

What's interesting about the info on that site, however, is that on top of being advertised as a month-long event, she is charging a $15.00 "submission fee" for each filmmaker that would like to have his/her film considered for use at the festival.  The problem with this is that the festival isn't happening, so to ask people to pay a fee for an event that isn't happening would be fraud.  The following was taken from the "official" website for Ms. Pickford's festival.  Keep in mind that this info has been the same for over 6 months.

"Hello everyone!  You may have noticed the site is temporarily down.  That's because we are currently working on confirming the venues and our new date, which will take place in Autumn 2010 here in Hollywood.

Never fear Rudy Fest is still happening!  We were offered a wonderful last minute venue for May but due to some setbacks the decision was made to postpone the festival so we will have a little more time to gather funding and submissions.

Check back soon for submissions call, our new date, and our new venue!  If you want to be alerted automatically, make sure to join our mailing list.

Now, we aren't rocket scientists, but Autumn, 2010 was over 4 months ago.  Where did all of the submission fees for this event go?  We are assuming that they went into the same bank account that all of the pre-order money for all the 1921 PVG Publishing books that never come out went.  We'd imagine that all of that money went into the same bank account that the Rudolph Valentino Society dues went into.   More than likely the same bank account tied to the store where Pickford "hocks her wares" of cheap ripoff Valentino mugs, key chains and the like.  We are, of course, talking about the bank account of Katie Lynn Birchard.  "Hala Pickford's" legal name.

We are looking for 2 independent films of feature length (1-2 hours long) to showcase.

Any filmmaker may submit, be the a youtuber or Academy Award winning artist.  (We are very sure that Academy Award winning film makers are just lined up at your door, Hala!) All ages are welcome and young filmmakers are especially encouraged to submit. We will have both standard projection and digital projection. Our focus is on good solid films, the best of the best no matter where they come from. Valentino believed in finding art in film, and we are glad to promote his legacy by encouraging it.

Hala Pickford Viciously Attacks Nita Naldi Biographers

While most of "Hala Pickford's" websites, blogs and fan-fictions sit dormant and unattended for weeks or even months at a time, don't believe for a second that Pickford isn't showing her ugly face somewhere behind-the-scenes.  Her latest attack viciously targets renowned Nita Naldi biographers and their website, (www.NitaNaldi.com) which has set the Gold-Standard in preserving the memory and accurate biography of the famed silent-film actress.

As per her usual Modus Operandi, "Hala Pickford" has made every attempt to capitalize on the massive success and attention of real artistic craftsmanship, claiming that it has somehow been "stolen" from her.  Upon the launch of the definitive Naldi site, "Pickford" began a libelous tirade on the Nitrateville Silent-Film forums accusing the Naldi biographers of "...ripping off" Pickford's work.  These tirades were almost immediately eradicated from the forum, and a stern message was privately sent to Pickford, warning her that this kind of behaviour would not be tolerated.

After the dismal failure of Pickford's attempts to slander the good names of the www.NitaNaldi.com biographers in respected Silent-Film forums, she upped the ante by publicly harassing them on her own blogs/websites as well as filing a fraudulent DMCA Complaint with the web-hosting company for NitaNaldi.com, the official Nita Naldi website, over the Christmas Holiday.  "Pickford" falsely accused the Nita Naldi biographers of intellectual property theft and demanded the immediate removal of the website.  Please note that less than 24 hours after receiving Pickford's phony complaint, the web-hosting company officially dismissed it.  Below is an excerpt from the laughable "complaint" Pickford filed:

"They stole this stuff in their biography (LINK REMOVED) filmography (LINK REMOVED) and then went to great lengths to put up a copyright claim: (LINK REMOVED) I was perturbed enough, but the copyright page sent me over the edge."

What makes Hala Pickford's false accusations against the Naldi biographers so interesting is that Pickford herself has long been publicly accused of Copyright Theft for her allegedly illegal reproduction of the book, Rudolph Valentino: A Wife's Memories of an Icon, originally written by Rudolph Valentino's second wife, Natacha Rambova.  In Pickford's complaint, she sources the aforementioned book as her "stolen stuff."  Keep in mind that this is the very book Pickford is accused of stealing herself and admits to reproducing.  Pickford has contended that the book is public domain, therefore not falling under copyright restrictions, but upon further investigation, it was discovered that the books' copyright is not public domain, but owned by Ann Wollen, an elderly cousin of Natacha Rambova and that the book is indeed under copyright protection.

It has not been lost to us, how quickly Pickford's asinine and laughable accusations were so quickly and officially dismissed based upon nothing but a cursory glance at both websites.  Less than 24 hours after receiving Pickford's complaint, she received a letter back with the following:  DENIED. 

   

www.NitaNaldi.com is a well-sourced tribute to Nita Naldi, beautifully written and thoughtfully laid out, whereas Hala Pickford's webpage on Naldi is littered with spelling and grammatical errors, clumsy layout and incomplete/inaccurate information.  It's very easy to see who's ripping off who.

Spotted! Hala Pickford - Is She Finally Paying Her $100,000 Court-Ordered Judgement To Tracy Terhune?

One of our Los Angeles readers sent us this picture of what is believed to be Hala Pickford withdrawing money from a local bank.  Is Hala cashing one of grammas "welfare" checks or could she really be withdrawing money to begin to pay off her court-ordered judgement of over $100,000 (One-Hundred Thousand Dollars) to Valentino authority, Tracy Terhune?

Evelyn Zumaya: “Hala Pickford Is Physically & Mentally Ill...

Valentino “Kooky” and former friend and confidant of Ms “Hala Pickford” has been spreading the news around the Silent Film Community that “Hala” is indeed “Physically & Mentally Ill.” (Oh, really?)

Evelyn has been telling anyone whom will listen about her frustrations with “Hala,” telling our insider that she became increasingly needy, calling her constantly for rides to and from different places, as “Pickford” has no vehicle and could not afford to so much as pay for gas. “Hala” also asked Zumaya for loans of money, as well as other favours. Zumaya became increasingly aware, as time went on, that “Hala” was dragging Zumaya's own name into the mud as well as her own. Keep in mind that this is all coming from a woman whom let her own father pass away unattended, while she defended “Pickford” in one of her many court proceedings, recounting events she knew nothing about and using “Hala” to further her own hateful agenda. When she was finished using “Pickford” to further said agenda, Zumaya dumped her, refusing to speak to her and ignoring her incessant phone calls. We think Zumaya is just as self-serving and shady as “Pickford.” Sounds like “Two Birds Of A Feather” to us!

“Hala Pickford” - “Trimmed Down”

No, no... Hala Pickford is still as large as ever. No, we aren't talking about her physical size or her ego. We're talking about her Blogs fraud, lies, hate, homophobia.

As part of his slam-dunk lawsuit, in which he was awarded $100,000.00 (One-Hundred Thousand Dollars) plus all applicable court costs, renowned Valentino Authority, & Board of Directors member for the Hollywood Heritage organization, Tracy Terhune, was also given a permanent order protecting himself from the hateful wrath of Ms. “Pickford,” including a court order demanding that she immediately eradicate all defamatory material directly or indirectly mentioning Mr. Terhune. After more than a month of  her refusal to obey the court order, Google Inc. and GoDaddy were forced to go into her blogs and websites and forcefully removed more than 50 posts, totaling almost 58,000 words. The aforementioned court order against Ms. “Pickford” also instructed her to post nothing further defaming Mr. Terhune. As was expected, she has also violated this portion of the order and has posted further hateful rants against Mr. Terhune, in addition to re-posting things previously removed by Google Inc.  Mr. Terhune's court order awarded him permanent and complete protection from this sociopath and her "colourful" comments.  Google Inc. is now in the midst of a large-scale investigation into whether or not to completely and permanently shut down all of the websites/blogs that Ms. "Pickford" operates.
